Cafe Press was an instant hit when I released it well over a year ago, and it still is the perfect out-of-box solution for virtually any kind of small business. I think what makes Cafe Press appealing is its simplicity which is why I didn’t really change much with Cafe Press 2.0. Staying true to the original release, yet adding much needed functionality was my goal for Cafe Press 2.0, and I think I achieved that goal.
New Theme Features
You wouldn’t know from just looking at the front end, but Cafe Press has been recoded from the ground up adding all sorts of great new theme features and functionality. Starting of course with WordPress 3.0 compatibility. Cafe Press is now fully compatible (as are all my themes) with WordPress 3.0. Primarily, you can now add/manage custom menus using the new WP 3.0 menu management feature. Aside from 3.0 compatibility, Cafe Press 2.0 now has even more customization options available allowing you to customize the entire theme right through the theme options page.
