A digital looking timer that counts down to the day of the event. The idea was to resemble the look of a score clock used in wrestling.

...a tribute to creating things.
I guess you would call this a spoken word piece, which was all written, recorded and edited today. However, the footage is from a period between September and December last year, when I was recording a moment every day for a project which lost momentum, so I'm glad I was able to put the footage towards something.
Film by Pahnl - pahnl.co.uk
Instrumental by Atmosphere - myspace.com/atmosphereIf you're interested, here are the words...
It usually starts with typing,
After the conceiving
Soon designing
Some call it drawing
Scrolling, handling, panning the page
Out comes the blade
Yes, we’re cutting, stainless steel is stealing
Penning and printing
Marking and trimming
Turning the blade that’s sitting
Gliding
Sliding through the paper, acetate and card
Piles up piling
Sticking
Fixing
Mistakes are rubbing
A fancy bit of embossing
Edges deburring
Then
Something to be unwrapping
Checking, inspecting that material for scratches
Seeing if it matches
But then we’re taping
Perhaps gluing
Masking so that we’re hiding,
Meticulous aligning
In the studio
Selecting colours from cans
Rummaging for caps in bags
The notorious shaking
No, I wouldn’t miss out spraying
Squeezing
Centering
Gently tapping
Then full-on smashing
Balance has us wrapping
Folding
Holding
Bubble wrap rolling
Glad to be boxing
Gauging
Twisting
Sitting, now cutting down that filming,
But again, the key is typing
The mouse is mousing,
Checking the list twice, but then, once more again because I keep forgetting
And you don’t stop ticking
Sticking
Hand finishing
Not to mention graphite print numbering
Please, please, please don’t forgot the fancy signature signing
Be consistent now
Do some binning
Avoid the coding
Thumbnailing
Of updating
Dusting
Yes, dusting
Rolling
Capping
Sealed
Weighed
And delivered.Cast: Pahnl

The making of a stencil painting.
I have been stenciling since 2003 and I thought it was about time I gave people a little insight into how I work. Cutting stencils isn't a spectacle, it's done in solitude and so I think a lot of my friends, artist or not, will find this interesting.
The painting featured in the video is titled 'And I'm Not Going To Take This Anymore'. Photos and more details about the piece can be found at pahnl.co.uk/store/anymore.php
This piece is now available as a screen print and so if you're interested head to pahnl.co.uk/store/anymoreprint.php for more details.
Thank you for watching.

...the making of an urban vinyl toy.
The dog wanted that bone, it wanted it more than anything else.
Oblivious to his surroundings, he continued to chase after the bone, pounding the ground with each paw.
Relentless, hungry and hopeful, the dog was happy.I'm very happy to present the 'Chasing Bones' Plastic Pup, crafted by hand from start to finish, available for preorder. At just under 4" tall, the dog has fancy magnetic feet and a tasty bone swinging on, like, real string! The model is cast from the eighth and final dog in a line of sculpted prototypes. I knew nothing about urban vinyl or mould making when I first started out and so it was a laborious journey to get here.
Each of these pups are cast and painted by hand, produced to the highest of standards and enclosed within a robust display case, which I‘ve also made myself... no unimaginative paperboard boxes here! Although I like to have my plastic pup wander free from the case and sit on the desk, reminding me life is a challenge and you need to keep chasing the things that you're oh so hungry for.
The track is titled 'Coffee Cup', composed by the very excellent Niels Nielsen and you should pay him a visit at nielsnielsen.net
The 'Chasing Bones' Plastic Pup is available for preorder at pahnl.co.uk/store.php
